Rev. Minie Yolaine Morisset Obituary March 27, 2021 It is with deep sadness, yet with peace in Christ Jesus, that we announce the home-going of Reverend & First Lady Minie Yolaine Morisset, a pillar of faith in the Haitian evangelical community. She was born in Haiti on September 2nd, 1946 to Mr. Jean Minium Cayemitte & Mrs. Louise Cayemitte. Though blessed with robust health all her life, her heavenly Father called her home on March 12, 2021 following an unplanned open-heart surgery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. First Lady Morisset was a loving wife, devoted mother, matriarch and a caring pastor. She leaves to mourn her faithful husband of 52 years and lifetime companion of 60 years, Reverend Jacques Jocelyn Morisset, founder and Senior Pastor of Bethel Church of God. A true soldier of Christ, she co-pastored Bethel for 21 years. She also leaves her oldest son, Reverend Jacques Jocelyn Morisset Junior, her second son, Pastor Richard Morisset, and her only and most precious beloved daughter Patricia Morisset. Also mourning her passing are her daughters-in-law Rose-Laure Camicheline Morisset and Priscilla Morisset. She is also survived by her grandchildren Emmanuel Zacharie, Hadassah Elisse, Mikha’El Joseph, Elliana Gabrielle and Gabrielle Sarah Morisset. Coming from a large family, she leaves many siblings: Charles Beaunez Cayemitte and his family, Naomie Cayemitte-Rueckner and her family, Emmanuel Cayemitte and his family, Sandra Cayemitte and her family, Ernst Cayemitte and his family, Fritz Cayemitte and his family, Eddy Cayemitte and his family, Evelyne Joseph Cayemitte and her family, Micheline Cayemitte and her family and numerous relatives. Her extended family and in-laws such as: the Cayemitte, Noel, Morisset, Jean-François, Chérubin, Jean and Deroseney families as well as all the families at Bethel Church of God, her spiritual family. May her homegoing bring you to the One who freely gives eternal life: Jesus-Christ, our Lord and Savior! The viewing and funeral will take place on Saturday May 27, 2021 @ 10:00 AM at Christian Life Restauration Center located at 3301 N Hiatus Rd, Sunrise, FL 33351.
